You know this is funny, because just a few days before I found the news item below, I came up with *exactly* this situation as a hypothetical example showing the idiocy of these laws. And as it so often happens, reality immediately catches up with you.
The next step will be that minors who masturbate will be charged with statutory r@pe. Or that youngsters will be required by law to have underwear tatooed on their bodies, so they won't corrupt each other when they shower together after gym class.
Did you ever consider the fact that maybe *some* laws are made not to protect anybody at all, but just to spread FUD? ("Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt", a classic PR weapon.)

Saturday, March 27, 2004
A 15-year-old Latrobe girl has been arrested for allegedly taking sexually explicit photos of herself and posting them on the Internet. State police at Greensburg said the girl took photos of herself in various states of undress and performed a variety of sexual acts. She then sent them to people she met in chat rooms on the Internet.
The computer was seized by police, who conducted a forensic investigation and found dozens of photographs of the juvenile stored on the hard drive. The investigation is continuing as state police try to identify all the people who received photos from the girl.
Police said the girl was charged with possession and dissemination of child p-rnography. A hearing date has not been set.
'Nuff said, as Stan Lee says.
I would just like to to share with you this short poem I have written. I do appreciate being able to see beauty of this kind untainted by porn.
There is a Web site that I love
It's called domai.com,
Providing beauty on the Web
And also CD-ROM.
It features women beautiful
In body and in face,
A lavish feast of sweetness
In the world of Cyberspace.
I praise God for his handiwork
While clicking on my mouse.
